Stories
Congressman Tim Walberg
Tim has served in the US Congress for the past 14 years. This area has been his home for 44 years. He was on hand to update members and said that his new district is now comprised of 10 counties. He said he sees a recession coming and that inflation in Michigan is at an all time high of 8.6%. The price of gas has gone up. He said he was concerned about the draw down on out strategic petroleum reserves, unsecured borders.

He doesn't think that EV's are ready for prime time just yet. He said he is not against alternate forms of energy and that he wants to be a good steward but until other countries make plans to do what web propose doing, programs like the Green New Deal will not have much impact. He concluded by saying that he is working on Four Pillars - Create a strong economy, take care of the current supply chain issues, curb the current cost-of-living, and make our nation safe and secure.
