Arrangements - President Kathye announced arrangements for Mike Tobey - November 30 at 11am at the Wagley Funeral Home in Adrian. We lost a wonderful member. Kathye is looking for memories of Mike that any member might have.  Wreath Update - Nate said we were "down to the strokes" so next Tuesday all 424 will be arriving directly at Goodwill. We can pick ours up at 9:30am. If you cannot pick yours up, there will be Matt, Allen, Kevin Keller and Jim Potthast helping with that. Wreaths have to be out of the facility by 3pm. Those helping distribute once we get there are: Rhonda, Cindy, Chuck Davis and Barry and Megan will be working different shifts to help distribute. If you have not turned in your money yet please bring it with you the next day at the joint Rotary/Kiwanis meeting or mail them as soon as possible to our PO Box 1119, Adrian address or to Nate. There are 2 extra wreaths if anyone needs one. A special thanks to Nate for chairing the project again this year and for another great fundraiser. Party at Chip & Cindy's - Friday, December 10th at 6pm. Drinks furnished just bring finger food. It will be a great time - always is! If you know of a potential member you'd like to bring - please do! WLEN's Thank A Vet Event - Kathy announced that this year's event "blew her away" as a total of $35,000 compared to $32k last year! Members from our club donated $550 of that total! Thanksgiving Joint Meeting with Kiwanis - Scheduled for the Wednesday before T-Day here at The Center - Kiwanis is hosting, Mark and Rod will serve as our fine masters. Comstock Christmas Riverwalk Project – Web hear that about 500 trees were sold this year! Thanks to all who helped sell and purchase one! Great job Mark and Mary! Salvation Army Bell Ringing - December 3rd at Hobby Lobby. A couple slots left. Thanks Kevin! The Morning Club took the December 4th slot. |
