Adrian's Mayor, Angie Heath, was on hand to give us all of the details about Adrian's 250th anniversary.
When you go to the Adrian Bicentennial website you will read: The Adrian Bicentennial Committee is excited to announce the event schedule for the 2025 Adrian Bicentennial Event! Activities will begin on Thursday, July 3, 2025 and continue through Sunday, July 6, 2025. A full schedule and description of activities can be found on the Adrian Bicentennial website at https://tinyurl.com/adrianbicentennial. As the planning process is ongoing, additional activities and information will be added in the coming months.
The logo for the Adrian Bicentennial, created by Alayna Paeth of the Adrian College Department of Art & Design, is available on the website for download.
The committee would like to thank our many partners in the event, including the River Raisin Ragtime Revue, Adrian City Band, Lenawee Community Chorus, Civitan of Lenawee, the Lenawee Historical Society, Adrian College, Adrian First Fridays, Adrian Noon Rotary, the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Adrian District Library, the Downtown Adrian Main Street DDA, and the many volunteers committed to making this a great community event celebrating Adrian’s history.
Mayor Angie also mentioned the Adrian Mayors' Charity Gala which is scheduled on Friday, July 4th at the Adrian Armory beginning at 7:30PM - 10PM. Sponsors are being sought.

CLUB TREASURER RECOGNIZED
The Adrian Noon Rotary Club is extremely proud to announce that club Treasurer and Assistant Governor (AG) Rhonda Gage was the recipient of the coveted 2025 "Council of Governors Award" (COG Award) during RI District 6400’s annual District Conference over the past weekend in Windsor! The COG Award is a high-level recognition presented by Rotary International given to individual Rotarians who have demonstrated exceptional service and commitment to Rotary's motto of "SERVICE ABOVE SELF". It is considered one of the highest honors within the organization. The award is internationally competitive and granted to a limited number of Rotarians, typically no more than 150 worldwide! Rhonda is only the 5th member in the Adrian Noon Rotary Club (ANR) to receive this honor. Past recipients are: Mark & Mary Murray, Chuck Chase and Chip Moore. Stephanie is still looking for volunteers. It will be a Parade of Homes event. They will need "docents" (tour guides or just to greet patrons arriving and check off names) with Rotary shirts on! It is scheduled for Saturday, July 5th and Sunday, July 6th. Proceeds go to the Adrian Center for the Arts. More info coming.

PARADE OF HOMES
The City of Adrian turns 200 this year! As part of the Bicentennial celebrations, the Adrian Parade of Homes will showcase nine architecturally significant homes scattered throughout the city. The event will provide ticket holders with an exclusive opportunity to glimpse into Adrian's past at their own pace over two days: Saturday, July 5 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sunday, July 6 from 9 a.m. to noon. Historical information will be distributed in each home. Transportation between homes is not included. With only 200 tickets available at $30 each, proceeds benefit the Adrian Center for the Arts.
